I am Dr. Nancy Friessen, and I am thrilled you’ve found your way to the Visionology blog.  As both the owner and optometrist here, I get to do what I love every single day – helping people see their world more clearly and comfortably!

I am also a qualified teacher, a skill I continue to use daily when counselling clients through exam findings and test results.  Every day in my practice, I find myself explaining how eyes work and making sure everyone leaves feeling confident about their vision and eye health. 

So why not bring that same spirit of learning and discovery right here to our blog?  I would love to share insights about common eye concerns, introduce you to some of the exciting products and treatments we offer, and maybe demystify a few things about eye care along the way.
